The Anchorage offers a range of comfortable accommodation for couples, families and small groups visiting The Catlins. Options include downstairs studios, an upstairs ensuite, a two-bedroom unit, and a combined three-bedroom accommodation option sleeping up to six guests. We also offer the option to book The Anchorage as a full house, ideal for larger families or groups travelling together. Please contact us directly for availability and pricing.
The Anchorage in Waikawa makes a convenient base for exploring the southern Catlins. Curio Bay is approximately 10 minutes away, with Porpoise Bay, Cathedral Caves, Slope Point and other popular Catlins attractions within easy driving distance.
Our cancellation policy allows a full refund as long as we receive notice at least 7 days prior to check-in.
Yes. The Anchorage offers self check-in, making arrival simple and flexible. Guests also have free on-site parking, free WiFi and Smart TVs. Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am.
