"It is a quiet and remote location but well worth the trip. Having booked the two bedroom unit at The Anchorage, we found the accommodation to be nothing short of fantastic. The unit had all the amenities necessary to enjoy our stay with free wifi, TV, washing machine (including powder), fireplace (with wood), and kitchen (with dishwasher, pots, pans, plates, cups, etc). Yes. The Anchorage sits above Waikawa Harbour in a quiet coastal setting, making it an ideal place to slow down and enjoy the peace and natural beauty of The Catlins.

The 2-Bedroom Unit sleeps up to four guests and has a full kitchen, lounge, laundry facilities and a private balcony overlooking Waikawa Harbour. For larger groups, Units 3 & 4 can be combined to create a spacious three-bedroom stay for up to six guests.

The Anchorage is ideally located for exploring the southern Catlins, with Curio Bay around 5km away and attractions including Cathedral Caves, McLean Falls, Nugget Point and Slope Point within easy driving distance.
